Key ideas taken from the book: Contemporary Lingerie Design by Katie Dominy

the lace detailing on the nightie is very eye catching the concept behind the designs are innovating

the pink body suit i especially like on this page, the fit is very flattering. I'm also interested in the red bikini style design -it could be interested to  investigate further 

again the high waisted knickers and suspenders are my favourite combo, i especially love the pastel pink colour with a subtle pattern. and the variations in the black lace is inspiring.

the design and shaping of the bra interested me here. 50s inspired you Can see the volumptious exaggeration that that particular style brings to the breasts

sheer lace night gown- very feminine and daring-which i like

i love the subtle grey tones in this slip-although not leaving much to the imagination, it gives the body a sensual shape and is very flattering

the crochet like style of this 2 piece is simply stunning and would love to take inspiration  of this style, it i very 1990s/80s- high cut underwear.

the over exaggeration of the bow in this design brings the attention to the breast whilst drawing the eye down the body. i love the frilly trim on the pink bra adds a very 'pretty' touch

looking at some of the underwear designs  i could take inspiration from eg cut length

the bodice's on this page are very fascinating and eye catching  and the curves/ shape of the body is accentuated by the design although made for private wear, it is till  very beautiful. 

the bra-knicker set on the left page particularly inspired me as it works well and the illustration shows sparkles.
